FAQs

A member institution’s sports camp or clinic shall be open to any and all entrants (limited only by number and age).

NCAA guidelines prohibit payment of camp expenses (e.g., transportation, camp fees, spending money, etc.) by a representative of The University of Texas’ athletics interest. NCAA rules also prohibit free or reduced camp admission for prospects (9th grade and above).


REGISTRATION

How do I Register?
Click the "Register for Camp" button in the upper right hand corner of our website to complete our secure online registration.

How do I Pay?
Secure online payments are available via Credit Card or E-Check (an E-Check allows you to Register online using your checking account by simply typing in your Account Number and Routing Number from the bottom of your check). Registration requires a full payment.

Can I switch camps?
Please contact our office (utsoftballcamp@athletics.utexas.edu). Switching camps is subject to availability in the desired camp session. 

How do I cancel my registration?
Please contact our office (utsoftballcamp@athletics.utexas.edu) in order to process your cancellation. Cancellations can be subject to a $50.00 charge. There are no refunds for a "no show" once a session has started.

How do I know if I'm Confirmed for Camp?
Upon completing registration you'll receive a confirmation email with important camp information and a receipt of your purchase.

What do I do if the camp I want to attend is full?
If the camp you want to attend is currently full, you have the option to join the waitlist to save a spot for yourself in the event there are any cancellations or if camp is expanded. If spots become available you will receive an email notifying you, as well as to pay your account balance. You are not a guaranteed a spot in camp if you are on the waitlist.


Check-in

When should I arrive?
Check in begins 30 minutes prior to the start of camp, but is subject to start earlier depending on the number of campers. If you have paid in full and already submitted all medical paperwork, you will not need to bring anything additional to check in.

What should I bring to camp?
- All personal softball equipment (Helmet, Bat, Glove, etc)
- Cleats & Turfs/Tennis Shoes
- Water bottles (Water refill stations provided)
- All personal equipment should be marked with a personally identifiable mark to avoid any gear mix-ups


Parking

Is there parking available at Red & Charline McCombs Field?
There is limited free parking along the streets surrounding McCombs field, as well as parking available in the East Campus Garage at a per hour rate.

Parking is not available in any of the surrounding surface lots without the required permit. Parking in these lots will subject you to receiving a ticket from Parking and Transportation.
